27 January 2008 - Wilden Winter Championship @ Polesworth (Mike Gurney) www.motocross-news.co.uk

With all the right boxes ticked including some most welcome warm spring like weather and a bumper turn out of four stroke riders round three of the Wilden MXC Moto Goo championship took place at Polesworth on Sunday.

Second overall, Scott Alldridge another twelve year who impressed immensely and in the final race of the day was closing in on Ryan as the chequers beckoned

It was Scott however who proved to be the master of the weekend in the Small Wheel 85cc races with three storming race wins all from the back and it was very nearly four as he reeled in and chased home Robbie Muscat in race one. A fantastic tear up between the two guys, one of the best races of the day that had the crowd right on the edge with Robbie just getting home first and helping him to third overall on the weekend.

Scott Aldridge also proved again what a good racer he his with two cracking scraps at the head of the field first with Fleming then Mc Canney, two second placings for Scott and third overall.

The other two race wins went to Scott Aldridge and Jamie McCanney. Scott, Jamie and Robbie Muscat were always in the thick of things together with James Rutter and James Dunn.

April 2007 - BYMX  @ Desertmartin (comments from TMX)

Scott Alldridge and Isle of man flying machine Jamie Mc Canny turned up the heat and showed the two stroke party is alive and kicking.  With some spectacular riding both Scott and Jamie snatched a race win apiece.

March 2007 - Comments from MotoX - The Complete Dirtbike Mag

Chasing after the young Manxman (Jamie McCanney) will be Northerner Paul Coates, Midlander Scott Alldridge and Bryn Clark.  The trio followed Jamie in the BYMX '06 taking seventh, eight and ninth respectively and should provide top competition, especially now it is their chance to take the spotlight.

4 March  2007 - MX 92 Winter Challenge - Finningley (comments from TMX)

The small wheel 85 class saw Scott Alldridge take both wins on the day.  The third race was cancelled due to bad weather.

7 January 2007 - Wilden Lane Open Meeting written by Mike Gurney

In the small wheel 85cc section it was always going to be something of a close run affair between Scott Alldridge and Dan Thornhill.  Dan took the last race win in some style as Scott's clutch began to fail.  However, it was Scott who had won races one and two, and with it the overall.

28 December 2006 - Cambridge Junior Motocross Club - Winter Championship

Scott took all 3 wins!

26 November 2006 - British Youth MX Winter Championship 2006 Rd 6 - Polesworth written by Mike Gurney

Scott Alldridge totally in a class and a race of his own at times, took a clean sweep of wins in the red plate section. Good performances also from Jack Timms in second and Thomas Kirk in third.

19 November 2006 - British Youth MX Winter Championship 2006 Rd 5 - Wilden Lane written by Mike Gurney

Scott Alldridge looked as if he had more than enough speed in the early stages of the Small Wheel contest to take the overall win but it didn't quite work out that way. Partly due to bad luck but more over, the form Dan Thornhill showed as he took two superb race wins to go home with the lions share of the points. The highlight of the day's racing a fantastic fight back by Scott in race two as he went down twice but clawed his way back into contention, reeling in Ben Howell and snatching second spot from him as the chequers fell in what had been a pulsating performance.

19 October 2006 - British Youth MX Winter Championship 2006 Rd 2 - Wilden Lane written by Mike Gurney

Who ever said it would be difficult to fill a top class meeting with a two stroke only field should have been at Wilden Lane on Sunday to witness what was a paddock bursting entry of riders for round two of the winter championship. Possibly the biggest off road event of the weekend was blessed with glorious weather and a circuit that was in as "good as it gets" condition, in a word superb! as was the five star entry who didn't disappoint with some breathtaking action

Yamaha mounted Jamie McCanney and Scott Alldridge went head to head in all three races putting on a display of fast and furious action in the small wheel 85s. Jamie took races one and two seemingly with a bit to spare as Scott squeezed every last bit of power from the KTM trying to get it on terms. In race three Scott turned the tables as he blasted the orange machine off the line to take control from turn one and never looked back. Jamie came home safe in second and the knowledge he had the overall in the bag.

2006 BYMX Nationals

Scott finishes his first year in this competitive group in 8th.

6 & 7 May 2006  - Racing at Haverigg with Cumbria Youth Motocross Club

Saturday the 6th was a good day's racing with a 4th place overall.  The first race was a battle to the end with Tom Moore, both raced superbly and fought tooth and nail until their bikes collided on a corner,  ending up in a heap.   With true grit, the boys jumped back on their bikes and continued the race.  Scott finished the race in  6th place.  Races two and three were placed 3rd and 4th respectively.

The racing on Sunday the 7th got even better.  After some huge battling with Jake Gowan, the day ended with a 4th, 3rd and 4th respectively.  The final race of the day saw Scott and Jake pushing and shoving their bikes every inch of the race right to the finish line.  Scott ended the day with a well-earned 3rd place overall.

29 & 30 April 2006 - Preston Docks with North Borders Youth Motocross Club

Saturday the 29th was a disappointing turn out of small wheel 85cc riders, so the club officials decided to race the small and big wheel 85 cc bikes together.  Good news for Scott.  Scott was on peak performance and finished the day with a very impressive hat-trick of 1st places.  1st overall.

Sunday the 30th secured Scott a 2nd, 2nd and a 1st place, giving him an overall of 2nd place.  After a good start, Scott fell off during the second race.  Undeterred, he worked his way from last place, through the pack, to 2nd place.

5 February  2006 - Moto GOO Champion of Champions - Round 3 - Article from TMX - written by Mike Gurney

Scott Alldridge and Chris Taylor went head to head in all three small wheel encounters. With one victory a piece it all rested on the final race. Turbo Taylor just managed to hold off Scott in a pulsating race that went right down to the wire.

22 January 2006 - Moto GOO Champion of Champions - Round 2 - Article from TMX - written by Mike Gurney

With some of the very best of British youth motocross on display for round two of the Moto Goo championship Wilden Lane was again a melting pot of opinion and speculation as to the early season form of certain riders.

Scott Aldridge is another rider who will be looking forward to the nationals. He was desperately unlucky not to take the overall win in the small wheel 85's. In the final race of the day his clutch disintegrated after he had battled his way back into third place.

All that after winning the opening two races in some style.

8 January 2006 - Moto GOO Champion of Champions - Round 1 - Article from TMX - written by Mike Gurney

In the small wheel 85's it was Joe Jones, Grant Boyce and Scott Alldridge at the head of the pack all day long. Grant Boyce on the Suzuki won races two and three in superb style but it was the overall tenacity of enduro ace Joe Jones that won the day, with an opening race win, a second and a fourth placing. Scott Alldridge with three strong rides took third overall.

The 5th BSMA National meeting  was held at Newlyn Down in Cornwall!
On the first morning of the weekend, Scott qualified 12th - which is his best ever result at a national race meeting to date.  Some tough racing over the weekend meant some hard work for Scott who didn't like the track very much!  His best race position over the weekend was 12th.
